Requirements
Minimum driver’s age requirement is 21 years and the maximum driver’s age is 80 years.
A young driver surcharge will apply for drivers under 25 years.
A senior driver surcharge for drivers aged from 65 years to 80 years.
Additional drivers are subject to Young/Senior Driver and Additional Driver fees.
US Renters must provide proof of their own insurance. Acceptable proof of insurance must include insurance declaration page, valid for at least 3 months before the pick-up date, that matches with the home address on the driving license, Bodily Injury and Property Damage Liability with not less than $500,000.00 USD for combined liability limit and USD 300,000 for property damage with a deductible no higher than USD $1000.00 USD. If you provide your own insurance, you will be charged an administrative fee of $17.99 USD per day. If using your own insurance, renters must provide an insurance ID card with the exact coverage shown and the same name and address as on the driver license. Insurance from outside the US is not accepted. Otherwise, the renter will be required to purchase TPL and CDW for an additional charge. Accepted Insurance companies: State Farm, Liberty Mutual, Geico, Progressive, All, State, USAA.
Non-US Renters must purchase a coverage plan. Collision Damage Waiver (CDW): Capital offers to all renters CDW, Collision Damage Waiver, which for an additional daily charge relieves the renter of partial or all financial responsibility for the loss of, or damage to the rental car, as long as the vehicle is used in accordance with the terms of the Rental Agreement. Cost – USD $29.00 to USD $79.99 per rental day depending on the rental season, deductible, vehicle type and rental Location.
Customers must present a full and valid driving license which has been held for a minimum of 1 year before the date of the commencement of the rental and with no major endorsements. A valid ID card or passport must be required at time of pick up. For customer out of USA an International Driver’s Permit (IDP) is mandatory. International driver Permit must be accompanied by the original domestic license of the driver.

Not accepted:
- Someone else’s card (including family members)
- Any prepaid card

Deposit
A confirmation does not mean you can use your debit card for rental. Most locations accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover credit cards. To find out if the credit card you wish to use at the time of rental is accepted at the location you will be renting from, please call the respective location. The renter must present a valid credit card in his/her own name at the time of the rental. A minimum deposit of between $350.00 USD to $2500.00 USD must be available on the credit card in order to rent the vehicle. All rental fees, taxes, and charges associated with the rental are due at the time of pick-up.
Deposit is required to cover incidental charges such as but not limited to physical damages, tolls, fuel, miles, rental extension, and late fees. The deposit is released on the next days after your return.

Additional charges
Yes, each additional driver is subject to an additional driver charge plus any underage fee in case it applies.
Up to 2 additional drivers allowed per reservation.
You must return the vehicle with same fuel amount as it is supplied to you at the time of pickup.
In case fuel is missing, it will be charged in addition to a refueling charge on your return.
Unused fuel is not refundable. Fuel charges are payable at the rental desk unless otherwise stated.
Your rental may have mandatory, local insurance requirements that result in additional charges at the time of hiring. Rental fees are due at pick-up.
Unless and otherwise specified, rates are quoted in US dollars.
Charges for refueling, additional drivers, etc. are not included in the total price.
Special equipment, such as child seats, SIM Cards and GPS, can be purchased upon pick-up (if available).
Out of state
Crossing country/state borders is not allowed.
The rental vehicle can only be used within the state of pick-up (for example if a client rents a
vehicle in Florida, he/she can only use the vehicle in Florida).
In the event that Cross Border and Territorial Restrictions are violated, coverage will be voided and administrative charges up to USD 2500 plus USD 0.75 per mile) will apply.
Collection and Return of rental vehicles
For pickup, please go to the 3rd level in the airport and follow the signs to the “RENTAL CAR CENTER”. You will need to board the train inside the airport called “MIA MOOVER”. On the same level follow the “OFF AIRPORT COURTESY SHUTTLES” sign and go outside to the shuttle station #1. The shuttles are identified with the logo CAPITAL. Alternative delivery and collection service is available upon previous request and charges will be according to time, location and availability.
Pick up out of hours can be requested before the rental starts with enough anticipation. Drop off out of hours can be requested at the front desk for an additional charge.
